Hooshang Heshmat, Ph.D., Technical Director, James F. Walton II, Vice President of Program Development and Andrew Z. Hunsberger, Senior Research Engineeer, have been recognized by the International Gas Turbine Institute (IGTI) of the American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME) for their research efforts in small and highly efficient energy generator technology. The award for Best Small Turbomachinery Paper, titled “OIL-FREE 8 KW HIGH-SPEED AND HIGH SPECIFIC POWER TURBOGENERATOR” and presented at the 2014 IGTI/ASME conference held in Dusseldorf, Germany, will be presented at the 2015 IGTI/ASME TurboExpo in Montreal, CA from June 15th-19th, 2015.
